Workers compensation insurance

Workers Compensation is often one the largest insurance expenses for aged care businesses. While requirements differ from state to state, Atlantic Insurance can assist in all states to coordinate insurance to cover your employees against injury at work.

Income protection insurance / life insurance

Through our association with Atlantic Financial Services we can provide advice on a range of personal risk insurances, including Income Protection and Life Insurance along with policies to protect key people in your business. Commercial motor insurance

The vehicles used by aged care facilities are often heavily modified to include ramps, lifts and accessibility modifications. These modifications are automatically covered in our exclusive Commercial Motor Policy, along with other unique covers relevant to your industry, including non-owned vehicle cover, hire vehicle following an accident and windscreen cover.

Voluntary workers insurance

Property cover (ISR)

Our exclusive Aged Care Property Cover, backed by a large Australian Insurer, has been developed over 20 years and is specific to the risks you face in aged care.  It includes automatic covers for Alternative Accommodation, Residents Bonds, Infectious or Contagious Diseases, Machinery Breakdown and many other specific covers. Cover is available for both damage to your property and Business Interruption.

Cyber insurance

For over 20 years Atlantic Insurance has been arranging Insurance Programs for Aged Care providers. It was the unique and sensitive information stored by these providers which resulted in us securing a Cyber Insurance option for their consideration. This was around 2015 when the Cyber Insurance product was in its infancy.

Johnson Goodwin Village were unfortunate enough to have a major claim of around $3,000,000. Atlantic were straight onto the front foot to ensure that the claim ran smoothly, we kept operating, and that our residents, their families and staff were inconvenienced for as little time as possible.
